Outcome measurement resources
Evaluation resources for nonprofits
A bibliography of evaluation resources suitable for grantmakers and grantseekers. The list is managed by the Foundation Center.

Evaluation tool kit by the W.K. Kellogg Foundation provides a variety of articles, websites and other resources that may be useful in designing evaluations, choosing an evaluator and analyzing results.

Evaluation philosophy
At United Way of Metropolitan Atlanta, we believe that evaluation is a method for not only measuring the impact we have on the community, but also for learning where we can improve our efforts. With this in mind, we have established a set of expectations for grantees around conducting evaluations and reporting results. We also offer a variety of measurement supports that are meant to strengthen grantee's capacity.

Data Integrity policy
The United Way commitment to good stewardship of contributions and to reporting measurable community change requires that data be collected and communicated accurately. The Data Integrity policy outlines our expectations, policies and procedures for ensuring accuracy and integrity of information collected from grantees.

Outcome measurement training presentations
We offer hands on workshops that focus on developing basic skills needed to implement evaluations based on the United Way of America "Measuring Program Outcomes" approach.

OM 101 Developing Logic Models (ppt) focuses on identifying what an outcome is and how to develop logic models. OM 102 Identifying Indicators (ppt) focuses on how to measure outcomes and identify data collection methods.
