What is Women's Legacy of United Way?
Founded in 1999 to mobilize women to become powerful philanthropists, Women's Legacy has raised the bar on women's philanthropy in metropolitan Atlanta. Click here to learn more about our accomplishments. Women's Legacy also has active programs based in 8 counties: DeKalb, Douglas, Gwinnett, Henry/Butts/Clayton, North Fulton, and Rockdale.

Does United Way support women and girls?
United Way is the largest health and human services funder for women and girls in the Atlanta area. In fiscal year 2003 - 2004, United Way is investing more than $4.8 million in single gender programs for women and girls. To view our gender equity report, click here (doc), or here (pdf).
