United Way Ivan Allen Society members are an elite group of Atlanta philanthropists for whom leadership and service to community are innate.
The Society is the highest level of the United Way Tocqueville Society, open to individuals who contribute $25,000 or more annually. It is this group that most clearly links the spirit of Ivan Allen to the needs and concerns of today.
Peter and Gina Genz have been Alexis de Tocqueville Society members since 1998 and Ivan Allen Society members since 2003. And this is only the beginning of their investment in the community. Read their bio.

The name Ivan Allen is as synonymous with Atlanta as Peachtree Street. Three generations of Allens have contributed to the growth, prosperity, and equality that make Atlanta the "Capital of the New South." Ivan Allen Sr., was one of the founders of the Community Chest, a predecessor of our United Way.
