Customer service training


  • Skills training — Customized training is available in the following areas: Information and Referral, Customer Service, Human Service Delivery System, Identifying and Handling Difficult Clients, and Taxonomy of Human Services.


  • Workshops and presentations — Topics include Information and Referral, Customer Service, Crisis Intervention and Taxonomy of Human Services.

    Quality training

    Customized training is available on how to improve your present monitoring system, the roles and responsibilities of the quality assurance manager and quality standards, as well as performance action plan and calibration methods to standardize the monitoring process. United Way 2-1-1 will provide printed and electronic materials for each trainee, as well as scoring of all pre- and post-tests administered.

    United Way 2-1-1 community education and outreach services

    Professional staff is available to speak to and present information about United Way 2-1-1 to various audiences. Some of the events attended by the United Way 2-1-1 outreach staff include church events, job/health fairs, etc.

    Telephone support services

    Customized call answering for community organizations wanting their clients to have 24/7 access. Our fully integrated telephone system allows us to record all calls for monitoring purposes. Managers are on-site around the clock, and monthly statistical reports are produced according to the organization's specifications.
