Chosen as one of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution’s five professional organizations for young professionals and millennials, Young Professional Leaders (YPL) is the group of choice for community-minded young people under 40.

Since 2018, over 1,500 members have given $5.3 million to United Way of Greater Atlanta and made an impactful contribution to our Child Well-Being Agenda. Lead. Impact. Network. Change. (LINC) is a group for emerging professionals under 30 who are passionate about making Greater Atlanta a better place. LINC delivers unique events and experiences for people to elevate their community, connections, and social calendar through volunteerism and personal development. By getting involved, you’re unlocking the potential of children, families, and communities.

LINC membership is open to those who give $250 annually and are under the age of 30, and YPL membership is open to those who give $500 annually and are under the age of 40.

Highlight Reel

United, we can help kids across Greater Atlanta rise up and achieve their dreams—starting with success in school! On September 13 2022, United Way of Greater Atlanta Young Professional Leaders and LINC members kicked off their efforts to help all students become strong learners, joining with our friends the Atlanta Falcons for a day of service at KIPP WAYS Primary.

Our Impact Networks

Engagement Groups

African-American Partnership members give $1000 annually and are committed to uplifting African-American boys and young men in the metro Atlanta area.
Women United mobilizes women of diverse backgrounds and is open to those who give $1000 annually.
LINC members give $250 annually and are under the age of 30, and YPL members give $500 annually and are under the age of 40.
Youth United develops and nurtures the next generation of philanthropic leaders.

Donor Recognition Societies

Tocqueville Society and Ivan Allen donors give $10,000 and $25,000 annually, respectfully.
Legacy Leaders are individuals or couples who commit to a planned gift through their wills or estate plans.
Cole Society members give $1,000 annually. This includes access to Women United and African-American Partnership.​

Board Service

United Way VIP is a nationally recognized board governance training program.
