Fulton County is seeking 150 volunteers for the 2024 Point In Time Count, which provides a “snapshot” of homelessness in all Fulton County cities outside of Atlanta.

The purpose of the Point-in-Time (PIT Count) is to obtain a snapshot census of people experiencing homelessness in the Fulton County Continuum of Care area in a designated 24-hour period.

The count focuses on people who, on the night of the count, are:

• Sheltered (living in emergency shelters or transitional housing) or

• Unsheltered (staying outdoors or in places not designed for habitation including vehicles, streets, parks, and abandoned buildings)
