RAM is a major nonprofit operator of pop-up clinics that deliver free, high-quality, dental, vision, and medical services to underserved and uninsured individuals. This quality care is not possible without medical, dental, vision volunteers, and general support volunteers! This year, they plan to host a clinic in Louisville, GA at Jefferson County High School to provide free medical, dental, and optic services September 23-24, 2023.

As a general volunteer, you may participate in many opportunities, such as assisting patients with registration at the clinic, assisting with traffic flow, or distributing food to patients and fellow volunteers. If you are proficient in additional languages, you may also volunteer as an interpreter. Furthermore, you may play a role as a medical assistant. If you have a Blood Borne Pathogen Certification, you can volunteer as a dental assistant. You may also aid optometrists by making glasses in a mobile eye lab or helping patients pick frames.
