The Atlanta Community Food Bank’s Community Food Center is a direct distribution food pantry to help us meet the need in food insecure areas. Volunteers assist with a myriad of tasks which might include packaging boxes of non-perishables or bags of produce and other food items for distribution, unloading food donations from trucks and vans and unpacking those items, daily cleaning, working in the fridge and freezer to restock those items, and distributing food to the Stone Mountain community. Volunteers may be trained to use a manual pallet jack to help move pallets.

Volunteers must be able to stand for extended periods of time. Volunteers may need to lift up to 40 lbs.

Volunteer Group: Reservations for Volunteer Groups must be coordinated via a Volunteer Coordinator. Please visit the Volunteer Group Request Form if you are interested in bringing a group.
