The Content Writer will interview and collaborate with stakeholders and subject matter experts, both internal and external, to create content that illustrates a range of social and economic issues with sensitivity, accuracy and aligning with organizational voice and goals.
As part of the Content Team within the Marketing & Communications Department, the Social Media Community Management Coordinator plays an essential role in educating the public about United Way’s Child Well-Being Agenda and engaging new and existing volunteers, advocates and donors in the work of building a more equitable future for our region.
The role will be dedicated to supporting the fundraising objectives set forth by the Office of Development (OoD), with a focus on donors and prospects within the Major Gifts Team. The DOD is a key member of the United Way of Greater Atlanta’s Office of Development. Following internal policies and best practices relating to portfolio management and fundraising, the DOD will work collaboratively with multiple Development Teams and other UWGA staff to build and manage a fluid portfolio of 125-150. The DOD has primary responsibility for working with the IID to identify, qualify, cultivate, solicitate, and steward donor prospects of $10,000.00 and above within a dynamic, fast-paced fundraising environment.
The SDTSLG will provide direction, planning and implementation of strategies to drive overall year-over-year net growth in aggregate revenue and membership for the Tocqueville Society, and will coordinate with the VP of Major Gifts, and Major Gifts Team to maintain and build superior donor relationships and meet measurable goals. Additionally, the SDLGTS will build and manage a fluid portfolio of 100-150 prospects responsible for identifying, qualifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewardship of donor prospects of $10,000 – $50,000.00 and above within a dynamic, fast-paced fundraising environment.
This innovative position will play an instrumental role on the DC&C team through organized planning of unique engagement experiences, management of vendor networks & internal processes, as well as implementation of multiple affinity groups strategic plans aimed at increasing revenue and retention; provides direct engagement opportunities; effectively supports management of volunteer boards, committees, cabinets, etc.; responding to inbound communications with exemplary/prompt customer service; support growing affinity group membership; expanding individual engagement to the entire region; stewarding UWGA friends and partners; engaging a diverse audience; and more.
The SDCSMG will provide direction, planning and implementation of strategies to drive overall year-over-year net growth in aggregate revenue and membership for the Cole Society, and will coordinate with SVP of Revenue, and Marketing Team to build and develop a membership giving program as well as manage the Annual Fund giving campaign and strategic plan while maintaining and building superior donor relationships and meeting measurable goals
