Building Resilient Entrepreneurs

Supporting the Future of Business.

Building Resilient Entrepreneurs, or BRE, is how United Way of Greater Atlanta directly supports entrepreneurs and small businesses. We do this by providing BIPOC and women-owned businesses access to resources and capital through technical skill training as well as matched savings incentives.

How It Works

Building Resilient Entrepreneurs, or BRE, is how United Way of Greater Atlanta directly supports entrepreneurs and small businesses. We do this by providing BIPOC and women-owned businesses access to resources and capital through technical skill training as well as matched savings incentives.
1
Save & learn. Participating business owners contribute to their savings over the course of six months while attending technical skill workshops.
2
Graduate. Participating business owners graduate from the program and activate the matched savings funds.
3
Activate match. Participating business owners receive a two-to-one savings match. Example: A business owner saves $1,000. They then receive $2,000 in matched funds.
