Pack the Purse

Volunteer with United Way of Greater Atlanta’s Women United at Pack the Purse, and help ensure women experiencing hardship feel seen, valued, and supported.

By helping us reach our goal of collecting and filling 300 purses with essential items, you’ll provide both practical support and dignity to women across Greater Atlanta. You’ll also have opportunities to build relationships and expand your professional network while enjoying a selection of appetizers and refreshments.

You don’t have to attend the event to make an impact! You can help us reach our 300-purse goal by donating purses at United Way of Greater Atlanta or purchasing needed supplies through our Amazon Wishlist.

Items needed:
purses and totes, toothbrushes, toothpaste, lip balm, rain ponchos, combs or brushes, travel‑size toiletries, socks, deodorant, hand towels, sunblock, bandages, menstrual products,
antibiotic ointment, prepaid phone cards, and more

Not accepting:
food, medicine, razors, sewing kits

Through November 10, purse donations can be dropped off in-person at 63 Auburn Ave. NE Atlanta, GA 30303 Monday through Thursday, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. If you have questions or would like more information, please contact Schyler Habowski, Director of Women United, at womenunited@unitedwayatlanta.org.
