the more we unite for

Brighter Future

Imagine a world where more communities prosper. To get us a step closer, our Brighter Future investment priority focuses on improving conditions in South DeKalb, South Fulton and Clayton County neighborhoods with low child well-being. Creating equitable growth in the most challenged communities means everyone—regardless of race or zip code—can thrive.

What We're Up Against

32%
In Clayton County, 32% of students—compared to 15% in our region—are forced to move during the school year, disrupting their learning process.
17%
In South Fulton, only 17% of third graders are strong readers. This is 20 points lower than the state average.
50%
In South Dekalb, more than 50% of families wouldn’t be able to cover a $400 emergency.
