United Way of Greater Atlanta is proud to introduce this year’s Young Professional Leaders (YPL) cabinet. Composed of 21 dedicated young professionals, including 11 new members, the cabinet is eager to embark on a year of service and impact in support of early education across our region.
Every young professional’s journey begins somewhere, often in a classroom, with a teacher, mentor, or opportunity that helped shape their future. YPL members understand the power of a strong start, which is why they’ve chosen to give back through the United Way of Greater Atlanta young professionals network, helping today’s children discover their potential and become tomorrow’s leaders.
Leading the cabinet this year is incoming Chair Dominique Moore. A powerful advocate for equity and opportunity, Dominique works as a trial attorney for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. She is excited to channel that passion into leading this community of young professionals committed to creating lasting change for children and families across Greater Atlanta.
“I believe strong communities are built when people come together to invest their time, talents, and resources in one another, and YPL creates that opportunity every day,” said Dominique when asked what she is looking forward to in the year ahead for the young professionals network.
“My goal is for this to be a year of meaningful service, authentic relationships, and measurable impact; one where we not only strengthen our community but also strengthen one another.”
Named one of the top organizations for young professionals and millennials by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, YPL brings together emerging leaders who are committed to making a difference through philanthropy, volunteerism, and community engagement. Members support United Way’s mission to help children and families thrive, with a particular focus on early education initiatives such as Learning Spaces, while advancing child well-being throughout our 13-county region.
