Engagement Group

Young Professional Leaders

Young Professional Leaders (YPL) is a group of individuals, ages 40 and under, who dedicate their time to engage the next generation of leaders in Greater Atlanta by cultivating and growing the spirit of philanthropy, community advocacy, volunteerism and leadership. YPL’s mission is to help children and families regain and attain secure and successful futures — an important part of United Way of Greater Atlanta’s Child Well-Being Agenda.

Word Around YPL

...I wanted to find an organization where I could give back to the community while also growing professionally. YPL provides me just that. There are so many service opportunities through United Way, and it’s great to be able to give back while also connecting with other like-minded young professionals.

I volunteered for a snack pack a couple months ago, and a woman who was impacted by it spoke about how much it meant to her, and her family. Right then and there... I became involved with YPL.
