In the future of Greater Atlanta, we hope people’s wildest dreams come true. Like MARTA going everywhere? Lemon pepper gold seasoning? One can only hope!
The best way to achieve any dream is having a clear pathway to get there, and plenty support along the way. That’s what United Way of Greater Atlanta is providing to our youth through our college and career programs—support to make their dreams a reality.
Because right now in our region, nearly 14,000 young adults ages 16-19 aren’t enrolled in school or working, making the path to their future nearly impossible to navigate. And in neighborhoods with lower access to resources, traditional college-to-career pathways often leave these youth behind.
College and career readiness goes beyond just a test score, a program, or a paycheck.

We dream of a future where every young adult has a clear path to their dream career, where every high schooler can afford college if they choose, and where basic needs like transportation and housing aren’t obstacles to reaching their potential.
And you can help us get there! It takes all of us working together—employer partners, nonprofit service providers, community leaders, and donors like you—to help youth achieve their dreams. Donate now to do your part for the leaders of tomorrow.
