During tax season, our Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program is here to help eligible taxpayers save money and maximize their tax refund—putting more money back into our communities.
There are four options to choose from when using our VITA services. Doc Drop & Go VITA is our drop-off tax prep option, offering a mix of in-person and virtual tax services. Taxpayers complete an initial 20-30 minute intake at a VITA site, then documents are scanned and uploaded for virtual preparation. The process takes 7-10 days, with quality review done over the phone or online. These sites are walk-in only.
