Learning and Advancement Program

Youth United

Youth United (YU) brings together high school students ready to do more for their communities through student-centered volunteer service, cultural enrichment, and leadership development opportunities. Led by a student board, YU offers unique and impactful service projects that improve the lives of children and families throughout Greater Atlanta. Join YU and others who have a passion for giving back.

How We’re Making a Difference

YU engaged 415 student volunteers that completed over 1270 service hours. YU members have completed snack pack projects, holiday care packages, and volunteering at partner agencies such as Books for Africa and Atlanta Community Food Bank. YU has even partnered with VOX Teen Media, completed a scholarship and college workshop, taken company campus tours speaking with professionals about career paths, and visited the High Museum of Art to view the Obama Portraits.
