You can help Greater Atlanta kids thrive!
Child chef poses against United Way backdrop

Aiden is seven years old and wants to be a chef when he grows up—yes, he’s one of those kids who always finishes his vegetables. But for him and 14,000 other young people in Greater Atlanta, a lack of access to higher education or career training could stop him from fulfilling his dreams.

Zoe, age nine, is poised to be a future teacher based on what a good older sister she is. But due to limited literacy resources in her school, she still struggles to read her assignments. It’s not just her: 1 out of every 4 students across our region are not proficient readers, and for kids growing up in low-income neighborhoods, the discrepancy is even higher.

We know that so many kids across Atlanta have big dreams, but not access to the tools and pathways to make them real. And that’s where United Way of Greater Atlanta (and you!) come in.

When kids have the support they need to grow, learn, and thrive, we’re laying the foundation for building a workforce—and community—we all want to see. When we invest in kids, we invest in Atlanta, because a better future begins with our youngest!

With your help, we’re strengthening every stage of a kid’s development, from early learning access to literacy programs to career training. Support a future Atlanta that’s powered by today’s kids when you give today.

Thank you !
